Sign In, Reset and Recover a Portal Account

Who / when: the Patient, any time they want to see their results, bills, documents or consults online. There is nothing for you to set up first and no password to remember: signing in is the way you recover access, every time.

The portal is passwordless by design. You don’t create an account, you don’t pick a password, and there is no “forgot password” page — because there is no password to forget. Instead you prove who you are with three things your clinic already has on file: your last name, your date of birth, and the last 6 digits of your phone number. When those match, the portal emails you a single-use sign-in link. Clicking it logs you in and, on your very first visit, quietly creates your portal account for you. That same three-detail check is also how you get back in if you’re ever locked out — so “sign in”, “reset” and “recover” are all the same simple step.

Note

“UHID” is your Unique Health ID — the permanent patient number your clinic gave you (it looks like VNA-…). You do not need it to sign in; the three details below are enough. You’ll see your UHID once you’re inside.

1. Patient — open the patient portal in your phone or computer browser. The sign-in screen reads “No password needed. Confirm a few details and we will send you a secure link to your email on record.”
2. Patient — fill in the three boxes: “Last name” (your family name), “Date of birth”, and “Last 6 digits of your phone” — the phone number you gave your clinic.
3. Patient — press “Email me a sign-in link”. The screen changes to “Check your email” and shows a heavily-masked hint of the address the link was sent to (for example a••••@g•••.com), so you can tell which inbox to check.
4. Patient — open your email and find the message from your clinic. Tap the sign-in link inside it. The portal shows “One moment while we verify your secure link,” then drops you straight onto your portal home — signed in. On your first ever sign-in, your portal account is created automatically at this moment; there is no separate sign-up.

Tip

Locked out, or on a new phone? There is nothing special to do — just sign in again from step 1. The same three details send you a fresh link. Because the link is what proves it’s you, you can never be permanently locked out as long as you can read the email on file.

Caution

The sign-in link is single-use and expires after about 15 minutes. If it has expired or you’ve already used it, simply request a new one. If you no longer have access to the email on file, use the “Contact your care facility” link on the screen so staff can update it for you.

What happens next: you’re in. From your portal home you can read released lab and imaging results, view and download documents, check your bills, book an appointment, and join a telehealth consult.
