See a Booking and Reschedule It
Who / when: the Patient, signed in to the patient app, who has an upcoming appointment and needs a different date or time. There is nothing to install and no one to phone — your bookings live in the same scheduler your clinic’s front desk uses, so a change you make is the change they see.
We will follow Amina, who has a follow-up appointment next week but a conflict has come up.
- Patient — sign in to the patient app (no password needed — see Sign In Passwordless With a Magic Link) and open the Bookings tab. This is your “My bookings” list: every visit, test or consult that is scheduled for you, newest first.
- Patient — find the appointment you want to move. Each row shows the service, the provider and the date and time in your clinic’s own timezone, with a coloured status pill (for example Confirmed).
- Patient — on that row, press “Reschedule”. The row expands to show the times you can move to.
- Patient — pick a new slot, then press “Reschedule” again to confirm. (Changed your mind? Press “Close” to leave the booking exactly as it was.)
- Patient — the booking updates in place to the new date and time, and you will get a content-free confirmation on your usual channel (email or SMS) that your appointment has changed.
What happens next
Section titled “What happens next”Your appointment now sits at the new time on both your app and the clinic’s schedule, ready for check-in when you arrive. The front desk needs to do nothing extra — when you turn up, your appointment is checked in into an encounter and your visit proceeds exactly as a booked visit should.
