PRM — Patient Relationship Management
This journey covers Veona PRM — the hospital’s business-development surface. It is where you manage the commercial relationships behind the clinic: the corporate clients you invoice in bulk, the HMOs and insurers you contract with, the doctors and clinics that refer patients to you, and the partner or reference labs you send work to (or take work from). You capture interest as a lead, work it, convert it into an account, open opportunities (deals) against that account, move them through a pipeline, quote your services, and log every activity along the way.
A few terms before you start, each defined again where it first appears:
- A lead is an unqualified prospect at the top of the funnel — a name and a source, not yet a customer.
- An account is an organisation you do business with (the client master). Important: a PRM account is a standalone commercial record. It is not a clinical patient and not a billing payer — those live in their own modules. PRM never touches a patient chart.
- A contact is a person at an account (with one marked the primary contact).
- An opportunity is a potential deal against an account, carrying an estimated value, a win probability, and an expected close date.
- The pipeline is the ordered set of stages a deal moves through; the board shows each stage as a column.
- An activity is a logged interaction — a call, meeting, email, note or task.
- A quotation is a priced B2B offer to an account; accepting one is the single PRM action that posts to the books.
- A campaign is a marketing or outreach drive recorded for the register.
Read the guides in order to follow a relationship from first contact to a signed quote, or open just the one you need — every page links to the previous and next steps so you can follow the trail. Only one action in this whole module moves money: accepting a quotation posts a B2B sales accrual to the General Ledger. Where an accounting line is mentioned, the convention is Dr (debit) and Cr (credit).
