ERP Editions and Modules

Veona is sold as editions — ready-made bundles of modules sized for a kind of organisation — and as individual modules that can be added to an edition à la carte. This page explains the six editions, the four paid non-clinical ERP modules, and the simple rule that governs what any given facility actually sees. It is conceptual: the exact mix for a facility, and its commercial terms, are set per deal.

How editions and modules fit together

A module is a self-contained capability — Pharmacy, Labs, Finance, and so on. An edition is a curated set of modules chosen to suit a particular kind of facility, so a buyer can pick one edition and have a sensible system without assembling it module by module. Beyond the edition’s defaults, individual modules can be added or removed, so two facilities on the same edition can still differ.

The governing rule is entitlement:

A module a facility is not entitled to simply does not appear. Its menu entries are absent and its pages return a “not available” response — there is no half-enabled state, no greyed-out teaser. Add the entitlement and the module appears straight away; remove it and it disappears.

This is why the system a facility sees is exactly the system it has paid for — nothing more, nothing less.

The six editions

Veona ships six editions:

Edition	In one line
Veona Labs	A standalone laboratory information system (LIMS) for a diagnostics lab — intake, testing and results, without the wider hospital stack.
Health Centre	A small clinic: registration, charting, basic diagnostics, pharmacy and billing.
Hospital	A full hospital: wards, theatre, maternity, imaging, blood bank, stock and the intelligence layer on top of the clinical core.
Network	A multi-facility group: everything in Hospital plus the group layer that ties several facilities together.
Public Health	A population- and programme-oriented edition for public-health organisations.
Veona Enterprise	The ERP super-bundle: the full clinical stack plus the four ERP modules below — the complete platform for an organisation that runs both care and its own back office on Veona.

Veona Enterprise is the only edition that includes the four ERP modules by default. The other five are clinical/diagnostic editions; any of them can have one or more of the ERP modules added à la carte.

The four paid ERP modules

Veona’s native ERP — the back-office side of the platform — is delivered as four paid, non-clinical modules. Each is separately sellable, each is included in Veona Enterprise, and each can be added on its own to any other edition.

ERP module	What it does
Finance & Accounting	The double-entry general ledger every operational event posts into — chart of accounts, manual journals, the trial balance, income statement, balance sheet and cash flow, fiscal periods, cost centers and multi-currency. One set of books behind the whole organisation.
Procurement	The buying chain — purchase requisitions, RFQs, purchase orders, goods receipt, three-way-matched supplier invoices and supplier payments, feeding Accounts Payable in Finance.
Assets & Maintenance	The fixed-asset register and its upkeep — asset records, depreciation and maintenance, linked through to the books.
PRM	Patient Relationship Management — the contacts, organisations and pipeline around every relationship that fills the facility: patients, corporate clients, payers, referrers and partners.

These four are non-clinical: they are about running the organisation, not delivering care, which is why they are sold separately from the clinical editions and are never switched on unless a facility is entitled to them.

Note

Because they are ordinary entitled modules, the ERP modules follow the same visibility rule as everything else: a facility entitled to Finance & Accounting but not Procurement sees Finance and not Procurement. Add Procurement later and it appears with no reinstall.

People & Payroll (HR) is free with every edition

Veona HR — People & Payroll is included free with every edition and is always on. Staff records, onboarding, leave, shifts, timesheets, payroll runs, expenses and the employee self-service hub are part of the platform regardless of edition, and there is no separate HR SKU to buy. Every facility, on any edition, has HR.

Tip

The ERP modules and HR work together on the books. When HR approves a pay run it posts straight into the Finance ledger; when Procurement receives and pays for goods, that too lands in Finance. Putting it together

• Choose an edition to set the baseline — clinical, diagnostic or the full Veona Enterprise ERP super-bundle.
• Add ERP modules à la carte to any clinical edition where the back office should run on Veona too: Finance & Accounting, Procurement, Assets & Maintenance, PRM, in any combination.
• HR is always there, free, on every edition.
• Whatever the final mix, a facility sees exactly the modules it is entitled to — un-entitled modules simply do not appear.
