Editions and what you can see

Every facility runs Veona on one of four editions. The edition decides which modules the facility has. Together with your role’s permissions, the edition decides what you can see and do.

  • Health Centre — a single small facility. Core clinical work plus labs, prescribing, and billing.
  • Hospital — a full hospital: wards, theatre, imaging, pharmacy, the patient portal, telehealth, and more.
  • Network — a multi-facility group, with centralised reporting and vital records on top of everything in Hospital.
  • Public Health — for a ministry or programme: registration, charting, maternity, labs, vital records, dashboards, and device connectivity, oriented to surveillance and civil registration.

Veona is deny-by-default. If your facility’s edition does not include a module, that module is not available — you will not see it, and its pages return a “not available” response.

A facility can also have individual modules added or removed beyond the edition defaults. If a module is added, it becomes available straight away; if one is removed, it stops being available on your next action.
