Guides by Role

Veona shows every person only the screens and actions their role allows. Access is deny-by-default: you can do exactly what your role grants, and nothing more. If a screen or button is missing for you, your role does not hold that capability — that is by design, not a fault.

A core rule runs through the whole product: the person who orders care is not the person who fulfils it.

  • Clinicians and nurses order tests, imaging and medication, and review the results.
  • Lab scientists, radiologists and pharmacists fulfil those orders (enter and verify results, author reports, dispense) — they cannot place the order.

Pick your role below.

  • Front Desk — register patients, manage the queue, book appointments.
  • Billing & Cashier — invoices, claims, payments at the window.
  • Clinician (Doctor) — order tests and imaging, prescribe, review results, sign notes.
  • Nurse — record vitals and notes, administer medication, raise orders.
  • Ward Nurse — inpatient observations and medication administration.
  • Surgeon — schedule cases, author and sign the peri-operative record.
  • Midwife & Obstetrician — antenatal, labour, delivery, newborn, birth certificate.
