See the Reminders Feed in the Portal
Who / when: you, the patient, any time you want a quick look at what’s coming up — an upcoming appointment, a scheduled video consult, a follow-up or a care nudge. The portal gathers these into one plain Reminders list for you; you don’t create them yourself, Veona derives them from your real appointments and care.
A note on privacy first. When the clinic nudges you on your phone — by WhatsApp, SMS, USSD or email — those outside messages are deliberately content-free: they tell you that something is due and ask you to sign in, but they never put your clinical details into a text or email. The full picture lives safely behind your sign-in, here on the Reminders list.
- Patient — sign in to your portal (see Sign In Passwordless With a Magic Link) and open Reminders from the menu. The screen explains it plainly: “We notify you content-free on your channel — sign in to see details.”
- Patient — read the list. Each reminder is a single row with what it’s about and when, and a small tag showing which channel it was sent on (for example WhatsApp or Email), so you can see how the clinic reached you.
- Patient — act on anything that needs you: tap through to a booking to see its time and place, or to a telehealth consult to find its Join control when the time comes. If there’s nothing due, the list simply reads “No reminders” — there is nothing you need to do.
What happens next: keep an eye on Reminders ahead of a visit, or just sign in whenever a content-free nudge lands on your phone. When an appointment passes or a consult finishes, its reminder naturally falls away, and new ones appear as fresh care is scheduled — so the list is always a current, at-a-glance view of what’s next.
