Log In With MFA and Pick a Facility

This is the sign-in you do every day. You enter your password, confirm it is really you with a two-factor code, and — if your account belongs to more than one facility — pick which one you are working in. MFA (multi-factor authentication) is that second proof of identity, usually a 6-digit code from your authenticator app. Choosing a facility matters because it scopes your whole session: the patients, schedules and data you see are the ones belonging to the site you select.

Who / when: All Staff, at the start of a shift or whenever you have been signed out. You will need your password and your authenticator app (or a backup code if your phone is unavailable).

  1. All Staff — open the Sign in page. Enter your work email and “Your password”, then press “Sign in”.
  2. All Staff — at the “Two-factor verification” step, enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app and press “Verify”. If your facility sends codes by email instead, press “Email me a code” and enter the one that arrives. The code typically submits as soon as the last digit lands.
  3. All Staff (more than one facility only) — if your account has access to several sites, Veona shows “Choose a facility”. Click the building you are working in today. (If you belong to just one facility, this step is skipped and you go straight in.)
  4. All Staff — you land in Veona, scoped to the facility you picked, and your session is live.

What happens next: you are signed in and working in your chosen facility. From here, any time you finalise clinical work — a note, a result, a prescription, a certificate — Veona asks for your eSign PIN, the signature you created at first login. That signing flow is covered in Sign and Amend Any Record With Your eSign PIN.
