Facility Administrator
You keep the facility running: its settings, its asset inventory, and the day-to-day administration screens.
What you can do
Section titled “What you can do”Your role (facility_admin) holds these capabilities:
- Read the admin surface — the overview and administrative screens. (
admin.read) - Manage facility settings. (
admin.facility.manage) - Manage assets — the facility asset inventory. (
admin.asset.manage)
What you cannot do — and who does
Section titled “What you cannot do — and who does”Some administration is split across other roles by design:
- Assigning roles to staff is the highest-privilege action and is held by the Administrator super-role (
admin.access.manage), not byfacility_admin. - Staff records, payroll, roster and staff communications belong to the HR Manager role (
admin.staff.manage,admin.payroll.run,admin.roster.manage,admin.comms.send).
If you also need to assign roles or run HR, your account must additionally hold the Administrator or HR Manager role.

A typical day
Section titled “A typical day”- Open Admin Overview (Admin) to check facility status.
- Adjust Facility Settings as needed.
- Keep the Assets inventory current.
For role assignment, hand off to (or sign in as) an Administrator; for staff/HR, hand off to an HR Manager.
