Download a Released Result as a Branded PDF

Who / when: you, the patient, once a clinician has released one of your lab or imaging results to your portal — when you want to keep a copy, print it, or share it with another doctor. The download is a tidy, clinic-branded PDF (Portable Document Format, the universal “looks-the-same-everywhere” document file) carrying your name, the test, the values and the reference ranges.

One reassurance before you start. Only results your clinician has released to you appear here — drafts and unreleased results are never shown. The PDF you download is built on demand, the moment you press the button, from a copy held safely encrypted on the clinic’s servers; nothing sensitive sits in a public folder waiting to be found.

  1. Patient — sign in to your portal (see Sign In Passwordless With a Magic Link) and open Results from the menu — the screen is headed “My results”. It lists every result that has been released to you, newest first, each with its values and reference ranges and any Low, High or Critical flag already marked for you.
  2. Patient — find the result you want and press “Download PDF” on its row. The button briefly shows “Opening…” while Veona renders your branded copy.
  3. Patient — the PDF opens in your browser (or downloads to your device, depending on your phone or computer). It carries your clinic’s logo and identity, your name and UHID (Unique Health ID — your permanent patient number, shown as VNA-…), the test name, every measured value beside its reference range, and the date released. Save it, print it, or attach it to an email to another doctor as you wish.

What happens next: the PDF is yours to keep — there is no limit on how often you can download a released result, and each one is regenerated fresh, so it always reflects the released figures exactly. If a clinician later releases a follow-up or an amended result, it appears as its own row on My results, ready to download the same way.
