Editions and modules

A facility runs Veona on one of four editions. The edition sets the default list of modules the facility has. This page is the reference for which modules belong to which edition, and the dependency rules between modules.

Module dependencies

Some modules require another module to be present. If the module a feature depends on is not available, the dependent module is not available either.

• Queue, Appointments, Chart, Labs, Bill, Portal depend on Register.
• ED, Ward, Theatre, Maternity, Rx depend on Chart.
• Blood Bank depends on Labs.
• AI & Scribe depends on Chart.
• Live depends on Appointments.
• Register, Stock, Admin, Pulse, Connect stand alone (no dependency).

Note

A facility can have individual modules added or removed beyond its edition defaults. A removed or un-entitled module is not available and its pages return a “not available” response; an added module becomes available straight away.
