Analytics Manager
You turn the facility’s activity into insight. Veona Pulse is the analytics engine: it draws on every module and shows it as dashboards, trends and breakdowns, with custom and scheduled reports you can export. Pulse is built to be safe to look at — every figure is an aggregate, a count or a timestamp, so no patient health data is ever in a Pulse view.
Two analytics roles share this area. An analyst reads, builds and exports. A leadership/audit role additionally sees the most sensitive revenue-assurance views and owns the module settings.
A dashboard is a saved view of metrics. Revenue assurance is the anti-leakage view that highlights discounts, overrides and after-hours activity.
Analyst — what you can do
Section titled “Analyst — what you can do”As an analytics analyst, you can:
- Read the dashboards — KPIs, trends, breakdowns and the metric catalogue across every module.
- Build saved reports — create and maintain custom dashboards and report definitions.
- Export — run an on-demand export to file, and schedule reports to run on a timetable.
Leadership / Audit — additional authority
Section titled “Leadership / Audit — additional authority”A leadership or internal-audit role holds everything the analyst can do plus:
- The revenue-assurance view — the more sensitive anti-leakage worklists that show who discounts most, who overrides, and after-hours activity.
- Module settings — the analytics configuration and scheduling options.
What you cannot do
Section titled “What you cannot do”Pulse is read and report only — it does not give you access to the underlying clinical records. You see counts, trends and timestamps, never a patient’s chart, results or notes. The revenue-assurance view names the people behind discounts and overrides, so it is reserved for leadership and internal audit and is not part of the everyday analyst grant. Building and exporting a report never exposes patient health data, by design.

A typical day
Section titled “A typical day”- Open the Dashboards (Pulse) and scan the day’s KPIs and trends across the facility.
- Build or refine a custom report for a question leadership has asked, then schedule it to land in their inbox.
- Export the figures finance or operations need.
- As leadership or internal audit, review the revenue-assurance view for discounts, overrides and after-hours activity worth a closer look.
- Tune the analytics settings and scheduling so the right reports run on the right cadence.
